WELCOME TO BURFOOT HOUSE
The Burfoot House is a transitional home and comprehensive program designed for homeless single women to achieve self-sufficiency. The program provides an intermediate step between emergency shelter and supportive housing, with limits on the length of stay. The program is designed to offer a safe, supportive environment to overcome trauma, address issues that led to homelessness, and rebuild a support network. The program focuses on employment, savings, and permanent housing.
The Burfoot House needs your help! The COVID-19 pandemic has changed how we serve our clients and how quickly our clients can find sustainable employment and housing. We have most meetings and classes via Zoom. We have worked with our clients to understand proper cleaning and sanitizing their living space. We are expecting clients to stay at Burfoot House longer because it will be harder to find a job and affordable housing. We need your help. Please consider making a donation that offsets some of our expenses. No donation is too small. Click on the MAKE A DONATION button and give as you are able. Please note Burfoot House. Our 501(c)3 nonprofit has no paid employees. We all serve. All funding: 91% goes directly to program services, 8% administration, and 1% fundraising. Thank you for helping us help others in need.
"...For I know the plans I have for you, "declares the Lord, "plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future. Then you will call upon me and come and pray to me, and I will listen to you. You will seek me and find me when you seek me with all your heart..." (Jeremiah 29:11-3, NIV) |
